"Meet Dallas L Alford IV, CPA, the founder of our firm."

I graduated with a Masters of Science in Accounting from one of the nation's well known accounting programs and became a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the state of North Carolina.

Upon finishing my education I started my career with KPMG, LLP, one of the Big Five accounting firms as an auditor.

I worked on a wide array of clients with revenues any where from $5 million to $800 million in industries such as manufacturing, health care, higher education, non-profit, banking, automotive and pharmaceutical. Some of these companies were publicly traded and are well known household names such as Thomasville Furniture.

While I found this work very interesting and I had the opportunity to work with some of the brightest individuals in today's business world I felt that the work was often impersonal due to the size of the organizations I was working with.

I made the transition to another firm by the name of McGladrey & Pullen, LLP as their focus was on owner managed businesses. With this firm I had the opportunity to work directly with business owners from a consultant stand point and I found that this type of work was my passion.

As I worked with more business owners I found that a lot of businesses were constantly facing the challenge of poor cash flow.

It dawned on me that such businesses needed an expert to consult with them on how to improve their cash flow. It was at this time that Atlantic Financial Consulting was born to help businesses improve their cash flow so that they could focus on their core competencies.

Our firm was founded on the premise that we are contributed 100% to our clients success because we are firm believers that if we make our clients successful our firm will continue to grow and be successful.

As a firm, we are constantly engaged in continuing education so that we can be on the fore front of industry changes and provide our clients with the best of service. We obtain such education through organizations such as the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Medical Group Managers Association (MGMA).
